You know you want to say it...

For Wicked Faire this year, I cosplayed as chick!Betelgeuse with the backstory that Betelgeuse could probably pick up more girls at Wicked Faire as a chick than he could as a guy. xD

I am so fascinated by people who cosplay/draw Lydia in Betelgeuse's striped suit because I think it's an interesting concept. I sat down and thought, "Why don't people ever draw him as a girl?" and besides the cartoon, nobody ever really gave "Betty Juice" a la the movie a go.

So, being a bigger girl with some extra fluff to love (which YAY FINALLY A CHARACTER I DON'T HAVE TO BE SKINNY TO PORTRAY!) I was determined to be Betty Juice/Betelgeuse as a girl for Wicked. Aaaaand this is how it turned out.

And I scare myself in how much and how well I ended up picking up his expressions and mannerisms. (I CANNOT STOP SNORTING WHEN I LAUGH.) I amused/creeped out a bunch of people at the convention. xD He would be so proud!

I LOVED doing that make-up and acting like him. This is definitely a cosplay that needs repeating. Like frigging SOON.
