The Dreamer's Pool

Stalactites hang from the ceiling, whereas stalagmites rise from the floor. Columns are when the two fomations meet. This is taken at Ruby Falls, a cave in Chattanooga, TN, named after the underground waterfall inside.

These small stalactites, stalagmites, and columns are an active formation inside the cave. Don't drink the water, though! The water that runs from the falls is full of Magnesium, the main ingredient in Milk of Magnesia.
