Road Trip

After visiting the Norman Rockwell museum (which is AMAZING and I suggest each and every one of you make a point to see it in your lifetime), I was inspired by his illustration techniques and just... fantastic brushstrokes and ideas.

So there was this pencil portrait he did that was JUST as amazing as his paintings that my dad said was "how you know a true artist... when his pencilwork is just as awe-inspiring as his paintings."

So during the ride home, I penned out an illustration of my dad driving in my beloved Moleskin sketchedy-book. This is done in Sharpie pen (not permenant they do make actual PENS now) and IN THE CAR.

Yup Yup.
